I am delighted to welcome you to Charmouth Primary School. We are incredibly fortunate to be located on the Jurassic Coast, with extensive grounds and direct access to the beach, allowing learning to extend far beyond the classroom walls. From outdoor exploration to creative curriculum experiences, our setting enriches daily school life.

At Charmouth, we are committed to providing a high-quality education for children aged 3 to 11 within a nurturing, inclusive and ambitious community. Reading sits at the heart of our curriculum. We are passionate about developing confident readers and building a genuine love of books, because we know that reading opens doors to lifelong learning. Alongside academic achievement, we place great importance on developing resilience, kindness and independence so that children leave us well prepared for the next stage of their education and beyond.
